The Digital Inclusion APPG’s Fourth State of the Nation Report

Last week, the Digital Inclusion All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG), which works to improve digital access across the UK, published its State of the Nation Report 2025, providing the latest insight into digital inclusion.
The report highlights:
– 7.9 million adults lack essential digital skills
– 1.6 million adults have no smartphone, tablet, or laptop
– Connectivity gaps and affordability remain consistent barriers
At Mova, we’re committed to closing this gap. That’s why we are working hard to make a difference by:
– Expanding mobile coverage in rural and hard-to-reach areas through the Shared Rural Network
– Helping communities stay connected via Restore TV, ensuring access to essential services and entertainment
Together, we’re helping build a digitally connected UK where nobody is left behind.
